Weekend update
This weekend was another jam packed extravaganza. Here's the update.
Friday
Incredible amount of snow today. It had to have been the biggest winter storm I have ever witnessed. The weather channel said we got 8" of snow, but it seemed like feet. There was so much snow that the ditches were level with the road. Even though it snowed April and I decided to take the horses to Barnesville for a weekend clinic with her coach. Friday night I rode Goliath. All I have to say is I'm waaay out of my league. The rest of the night was fun. We had dinner with Clint, Tracy & Mac and John. Then we spent the night at Clint and Tracy's. It was a fun fun time.
Saturday
The day started with a kinda bummer. The temperature dropped to -20 during the night and our brand new truck didn't start. It needed a new starter, so that was kinda a bummer but not too bad. April rode her horse Highlight with John and then we were on the road back to Grand Forks. The trip home was uneventful and the night was filled with some studying.
Sunday
A day of studying. The highlight of the day was a quick run with the Doo dog. The temperature at 9pm was +5 with a wind chill of -7. Notice Daisy's booties special for keeping her feet warm.
Monday
This morning Daisy was busy recovering from her late night run and a weekend at the barn. The day was pretty uneventful with school and studying.

Is it just me, or is Daisy hanging her head in shame regarding her unabashedly uncool footwear?
PS - Andy Shaffer is cool
PPS - How's the truck runnin' now?
