Update
Sorry I haven't posted for a while. Here is the update from over the weekend.
Friday:
We got done with class really late because our professor insists on keeping us til 5pm on Friday afternoon. So, April and I set out for the barn to pickup her old trailer. We intended to haul the trailer down to Fargo and sell it to this nice lady. However, the snow in the picture proved to be too much for my bald tired truck. The tires on the trailer had stuck and we absolutely couldn't move the trailer. After spinning the tires for nearly 45 minutes April went to get Beth (the barn owner) to pull us out. I begrudgingly let her pull my "new & tough" truck out of the 6.5 inches of snow on the ground. Getting stuck slowed us down so we weren't able to show the trailer to the lady.
Saturday
The trailer made it to Fargo and sat in front of Barry & Julien's. The nice lady came to look at the trailer and didn't like it very much. She said, "I'll think about it and call you back." So, we called the next nice lady on the list and she liked it. Her husband declared it to be a good trailer and said they'd buy it. So, we are down one steel rust bucket and up a big green bus-like trailer. You can see it in the background above. The rest of the day I intended to study but ended up procrastinating like it is going out of style.
Sunday
I spent the day studying. Yippy, we learned about all the weird stuff that can happen to your gut.
Monday
No school.....party!!!! After Friday night's truck pull fiasco, we declared it necessary to purchase new, bigger truck tires. The guy who sold me the truck said, "Some guys like to put the 265's on instead of these here 245's." I'm not too savvy on tire knowledge and took this guy's word as gospel. I said, "Oh yes, that sounds really good." Now I own a truck that has these humongous knobby tires that look like mudding tires you'd see on Billy Joe's rig at the truck pull. 'Nough said.
Tuesday
Back to school. Everyone at school is starting to get a little edgy with our upcoming tests. April and I try to stay as far from school as we can when it gets to this point.
